To Whom It May Concern:
I
am an instructor in the Technical Communication program at Bellevue Community College. I’m
writing in support of Adrienne Koch, a graduate of our certificate program in technical and professional editing. Adrienne
was a student in my Web Content Design class. Throughout the class, Adrienne was very engaged, asking thoughtful questions
and making insightful comments. From her final project, I could tell she absorbed the important points about how to write
effectively for the Web and how to structure information to make Web sites easy to use.
In
addition to her writing and editing skills, I’m struck by Adrienne’s initiative, independence, and energy. Unlike
most of my students, she came to class having already created her own website, and she took advantage of the opportunity to
get feedback on the site from me and other students. As an editor myself, I know how valuable such qualities are in keeping
a project on track while maintaining high quality.
Sincerely,

To whom it may concern:
Adrienne Koch is, without doubt or compare, not
only the finest editor this writer could wish for, but she is also a writer blessed with an abundant fey talent.
Speaking as a former co-worker, I admire and
respect Adrienne for her fluent command of language, written or spoken, and a style of teaching which transcends mere instruction
through her inclusion of compassion, empathy, and wisdom.
As a fellow writer and friend, I have found Adrienne
to possess a consistent and powerful self-integrity, self-honesty, trust, and faith in herself, and in others. Adrienne was born holding within herself the divine breath, inspiration.
And whether we believe in destinies or predetermination or neither, it seems self-evident nonetheless that Adrienne
came into this world to teach and to create. She is, in my estimation, a force
of nature; I don’t say this with a flippant air of hyperbole so common these days, but with genuine awe for her creative
and communicative abilities, her beauty of spirit, and her eternally questing intellect.
Sincerely,
Marq J. Koontz
